Correct forecast

by isadora101 @ 2008-07-07 - 12:57:39

The weather forecast was correct...would you believe>:XX.

I pitched my tent last Friday in sunshine with just a little cloud hovering around then spent the rest of the afternoon in the outdoors feeling decidedly warm.
I slept soundly in my sleeping bag that night and awoke to the patter of rain on the canvas above my head ...and it hardly stopped raining 'til I came home last night.
It is forecast to rain everyday in the coming week but at least I will be tucked up snug in my warm bed

The weekend wasn't spoiled however as it takes more than a little rain to dampen the enthusiasm of the weird and wonderful folkies of Cleckheaton :DD

Coming soon ...more pics of folk with umbrellas over on my blog";)

It was only a couple of nights under canvas so it wasn't so bad..I can remember the summer of '97 though when I was supposed to be camping for a full week, the rain was so torrential that we packed up and went home after four days!!
